Shay Locomotive No. 6

Please note this train isn't built to go fast, it's a logging train built for unreliable tracks in poor conditions. Hello! This is my No. 6 Shay Locomotive in Stormworks. I'm not going to bore you with too much info about Shay's, but if you are interested there is more further down. There isn't much I think I need to say, however, expect updates in the future, primarily to details. Any suggestions are welcome, and if there's anything on the train that you like (microcontrollers, xml piece, ect.) you are free to use them on your own creations, even if you upload them to the workshop. Credit wouldn't be required, but would be appreciated. How to operate: 1. Turn on, "Fire Box Ignition" and keep it on. Turning it off will cut the airflow. 2. Wait for "Boiler Temperature (F)" to reach 212 degrees to begin producing steam. (~90 Seconds) 3. Before you throttle up, make sure the brake is off (default set to 0.3) 4. Throttle is not a lever, it's the instrument panel on pivot between the brake and reverser. 5. Change the "Fire Box Temp" next to the red "Pipe cross corner" to change the temperature. 300 F works pretty well. 6. To stop: Throttle to 0 > Increase Brake > "Release Residual Steam" once throttle = 0 7. Light controls are the green panel above the fire box to the right. 8. Dynamo (Electricity Generation) is the manual valve above Fireman's Seat. Default set to on. Since this a North American locomotive, all of the units are in Freedom Units Max Speed: ~20 MPH (9 m/s) Tank Size: 5800 Gal (22000 L) [That includes the space within the boiler area] Cold-Start Time: ~90 Seconds Little history on Shays: Back in the 19th century, logging became very popular, but moving logs was very hard. Typically, logs would be moved in the winter with horse sleds, or via other geared locomotives (Heisler & Climax types). Ephraim Shay used to be a school teacher, as well as a few other professions in Michigan. In the 1860's he became a logger and became tired of using sleds that were exclusive to the winter. Since most trains didn't work, he drew up his own design. Once he had a working prototype he patented his design and worked with Lima Locomotive Works to start producing the Shay locomotive. The Shay would go on to become very successful, with ~2,700 units being sold. [Best selling Locomotive ever had ~11,000 sales for reference] The Shay was produced all the way up to 1945. Huge credit to Kahrstrom's XML Pipe Pack's for the XML pipes I used all over my train. This train wouldn't be the same without their pipes. I added it not because it's realistic but because it's fun.
