Anaconda

Anaconda is an attack shuttle carrying submarine with a design that is heavily inspired by “Faulcon DeLacy Anaconda”, a ship from the game Elite Dangerous.

Features:

  • HUD-like system that displays info on glass in command room for captain (has 3 modes);
  • Incineration chamber;
  • Emergency boost (draws power from the capacitors and reloads 90 seconds);
  • Decoy flare system;
  • Sonar cutoff (turns the sonar off if water is detected in the command room. Made for those that play with “Real sonar” mod. Is off by default.);
  • A gun;
  • Terminal with 10 functional commands;
  • Self-destruct system;
  • A kitchen (Hungry Europeans version of the ship is included);
  • Backup batteries;
  • Door automation (can be turned off);
  • Station power mode (can be turned off);

Although Anaconda is an attack submarine with 6 cannons it’s offensive capabilities are limited by design to encourage use of the “Interceptor” shuttle and teamwork. The limitation is number of periscopes (2), this means that only two cannons can be used simultaneously. To switch between turrets you’ll have to angle turret up or down beyond its gimbal limit. Railgun has its own switch. Due to this limitation, bots cannot operate turrets.

It’s also should be noted that due to how barotrauma handles minerals, shooting any creature that contains minerals (e.g. Mudraptor) with a mining pulse laser will cause an error and opening of debug console.
