Description
The Soldier-class light frigates are one of the most numerous medium-sized vessels of the Sovereign navy.
They were designed to reach as high speeds as it's possible for a light frigate, sporting a massive rigging, whcih allows them to be one of the fastest ships on the Distant Frontier.
Initially the Soldier-class was created as a response to the growing threat to the Montrian supply and trade lines, but it was soon realized that they also excel in an opposite task - they are near-perfect raiders, thanks to their excellent speed and agility.
Soon after the first batch entered service, a special group was created - The Hunters, whose sole purpose is to run swift attacks on the enemy ships. The ships belonging to the group can be identified by an uncharacteristic green-ish color of the inner bulwark, the majority of them - Soldiers.
The Hunters proved to be extremely successful at disrupting the enemy supply and destroying small groups of warships. Rumors say that two Soldiers could sink an entire ship of the line.
In the Sovereign Navy ranking, the Soldier-class is a 5th rate.

Operation
Sailing
Find a handle on the left side of the helm, controls are labelled.
When Sailing close to the wind, it is recommended to switch to Manual Sail [2] and swing the yards hard over to continue sailing at speed.
Firing
Find a handle of either ship's broadsides.
Press [1] and wait for guns to roll out.
Hold [Trigger] to fire a salvo.
Press [2] and [3] to close firing on the Weather Deck and Gundeck respectively.
The stern and bow chasers as well as quarterdeck guns are mouse-aimed.

One of the most optimised ships to the time being.
