the Dirty Paws Trading Company has now completed a fishing trawler and is allowing use of it to others
it costs $359,448, so its not cheap but its geared to allow very long trips out at sea, and with the speed boosters it should be able to travel larger distances in good time
below is a list of the features of this trawler
- infinite power, which gets disabled if the engine room becomes too flooded
- lifeboat (primitive but it gets the job done)
- emergency systems such as
1 automatic flooding detection and pumping in the 3 large compartments, with alarms and water level in the main control center
2 transponder for being located
3 flares, flare guns, oxygen masks, emergency air lines running to crew quarters and main utility room (flip a lever and fresh air rushes in through the vent)
4 siren to alert all crew and anyone within its (large) range
- automatic buoy deployment if the ship goes under, attached via rope chain, has a spinning light on it to be located
- mic into large speaker at the helm for communicating to others nearby
- heaters
- plenty of extra supplies such as ropes, cables, hoses, glowsticks, spearguns+ammo, fire extinguishers, welders, underwater welders, med kits
- scuba suits, artic suits, firefighter suits for every member of the crew
- flashlights, radios, strobe lights and transponder for crew to have on them
- zoomable map and coordinates (the map is someone elses but i do not recall whos
- anchor
- warning and instruction notes on the main control board
- winches and ropes along the sides for docking as well as a placeable anchor point to winch to
- tank for fluids on the bottom of the ship with clearly labeled pumps and pipes for moving fluid in/out of it
- automatic Hazzard lights on walkways and main mast when extended
- easy to understand controls for trawling equipment as well as a count for how many fish are in the net and in storage
- cameras on the mast, anchor, underside and trawling ropes for being able to see whats going on
- extendable walkway so you can walk onto the dock/other ships from the ship and not step foot in the water
- estimated net capacity of 9216 and storage of 14687 (the nets were originally made before the net capacity was increased in an update to the game)
i built this all myself, with the only thing i at the moment can recall using someone elses work for was the map
this is only the first ship for the DPTC, another is being worked on but mainly needs its engine troubles sorted out, i hope to build a nice little company fleet for my made up company
