Ketaros Light Sensor

Your colonists leave the lights on. Every room. Every time. The generator burns through chemfuel while empty barracks and abandoned workshops blaze away for nobody. Meanwhile, your batteries drain and brownouts creep closer. [b]The first RimWorld light sensor mod with independent per-room configuration[/b], each sensor has its own settings, so your hospital behaves differently from your barracks. And the only one that recognizes sleep as a reason to kill the lights. If everyone in the room is out cold, why burn the power? Smart Room Detection The sensor monitors the enclosed room it's placed in. It knows when colonists are present, when they've left, and when everyone has fallen asleep. Lights respond accordingly, on when needed, off when they're not. Sleep-Aware Late-night barracks don't need blazing overhead lights. When every colonist in the room is asleep, the sensor dims the room to darkness. The moment someone wakes, lights back on. This can be toggled per sensor if you prefer lights to stay on during rest. Adjustable Delay Don't want lights flickering every time someone steps out for a second? Each sensor has a configurable turn-off delay (default 2 seconds). Set it higher for busy hallways or workshops where colonists come and go. Set it to zero for storage rooms nobody lingers in. Per-Sensor Settings Every sensor is independent. Click on it after installation to open its settings. Configure the sleep behavior and delay individually, your hospital can stay lit all night while the dining room goes dark after dinner. Clean Power Icons Lights turned off by the sensor won't show the annoying "no power" icon. The sensor is in control, everything is working as intended. Lightweight Draws only 5W. Costs 3 steel. Requires only the Electricity research. Found in the Power category alongside generators and batteries, right where it belongs.
