Gun Variety - Knee mortar
Adds small, 1-person crewed handheld mortar. This mod only adds 1 single weapon, all other textures are ideology restyles and are still considered to be the same item.
Instead of being a building like bigger mortars, it can be carried by 1 person and used on the go like a handheld weapon. Heavily inspired by soviet VM-37 Spade Mortar, but rechambered to 30x29mm grenades for ammo commonality with AGS-30.
In-game description

Otherwise known as a "commando mortar", it is light enough for one person to carry both ammunition and the weapon itself, making it great at providing fire support on raiding missions. While very inaccurate at range, it remains a potent weapon against static targets.»[/i]
Overview
The main purpose of this weapon is to allow some pirate raiders in a regular raids to provide indirect fire support. Most grenadier enemies can spawn with it, albeit the chance to spawn with a knee mortar is lower than the other launchers.
However, it is usable by player too, having high mobility, respectable damage and slightly faster shell speed than 81mm mortar. Its range is significantly lower due to poor accuracy. It will outrange most rifles and MGs, but gets outranged by sniper rifles.
Weighs 2 kg and occupies 5 bulk. Reload speed is equal to other muzzle-loaded launchers like m79.
Features custom "light mortar" sounds (mixed from other vanilla sounds) and 6 ideology style retextures. Requires "Simple Launchers" and "Mortars" research. Stats calculated via CE spreadsheets with minor manual adjustments (see xml for details).
It is a semi-fictional weapon, all stats are taken from the real VM-37 mortar and put through CE spreadsheets, but the caliber was changed to avoid ammo bloat.

* If you have Ideology DLC, each of the main styles will have a unique look for this gun.
