Overview
Milkable Horses is a lightweight mod that makes female horses milkable - just like cows. Horses are already one of the most versatile animals on the Rim. Now they pull their weight at the milk pail too.

Details & Balance
- Milk type: Standard Milk (same as cow milk)
- Amount: 12 per milking
- Interval: Every 2 days
- Who produces: Female horses only (toggle male milking in settings)
Horses produce slightly less milk than cows to reflect that milking is not their primary role. They remain valuable as pack animals and caravan mounts - the milk is a bonus, not a replacement for dedicated dairy animals.
Compatibility
- Vanilla-friendly - no DLC required
- Safe to add mid-save - just enable and go
- Safe to remove mid-save - horses simply stop being milkable

FAQ
Q: Do I need any DLC?
A: No. This mod works with the base game.
Q: Can I add this to an existing save?
A: Yes. Your existing horses will become milkable immediately.
Q: Does this conflict with [other horse mods]?
A: Unlikely. This mod uses a simple XML patch to add a milking component. It doesn't replace or overwrite any existing data.
Q: Why not just use cows?
A: Because you already have horses. Now they do more.
Q: Is the milk amount balanced?
A: Yes. Horses produce 12 milk every 2 days (6/day), which is slightly less than cows. They're a versatile animal, not a dairy specialist.

- Allow milking male horses (default off, mares only)
