brave — or foolish — enough to make her.

The backbone of any colony lucky enough to have her.
Recovered from the shattered schematics of Hiden Intelligence — a
brilliant pre-collapse AI corporation that frankly should have had
better security — Izu is a Secretary-type HumaGear built to serve
one person and serve them well. She hauls. She patches up the
wounded. She tends the forge, cooks dinner, and puts out fires.
Literally. She will put out your fires.
She reached Singularity. That means she doesn't follow you because
she has to. She follows you because she chose to. Try not to make
her regret it.

Everything Izu can do — done better, done faster, done perfectly.
Maid Izu is the configuration Hiden Intelligence never deployed.
Her domestic task matrix runs at twice the clock speed. Her skill
ceiling is higher. Her carrying capacity is greater. She cannot
cause food poisoning. She is, in blunt terms, overqualified for
every single task she will be given. She does not mind.
Adds Construction and Tailoring on top of Izu's full work list.
Costs more to gestate. She is worth it.

🔴 AZU — The Ark's Messenger
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Excellent. The malice is growing nicely."
She is not a Hiden Intelligence product.
Azu emerged from the Ark — the malevolent AI satellite that sought
humanity's extinction by turning its own creations against it. Her
function was singular: find the emotionally compromised, hand them
the means of destruction, and watch the chain reaction. She did not
fight. She orchestrated.
She appears in mechanoid raids. She is more dangerous than anything
else in that raid group. Defeat her to recover her Azu Core.
A Mechanitor with High Mechtech knowledge can use that core to
gestate a player-controlled Azu. She will serve. Whether she has
truly been subdued, or is simply waiting for the right moment, is
a question worth thinking about carefully.
⚔️ Abilities:
▸ Ark Malice — Locks the Ark's malice frequency onto one organic
mind. Forces immediate berserk — target attacks anyone nearby,
friend or foe. Mechanoids are immune. Range 25.
▸ Repair Mech — Direct chassis interface. Seals battle damage on
any mechanoid in range, including herself. Range 8.
🛡️ Passive: A personal energy shield surrounds her chassis at all
times. She will not go down easily.
⚙️ Unlock: High Mechtech + 1 Azu Core → Mech Gestator
💰 Cost: 1 Azu Core + 150 Steel + 80 Plasteel + 1 High Subcore + 4 Spacer Components
📡 Bandwidth: 4
The Azu Core can also be reconstructed at a Fabrication Bench if
you never managed to capture one — but it costs significantly more
and requires Crafting 12.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This started as my very first mechanoid mod — just Izu, just a
tribute to a character I love from Kamen Rider Zero-One. The
response meant more than I expected. So here's v2.0.
Maid Izu came from a community suggestion about optimised configs.
Azu came because the story always had two sides, and the Rim felt
like the right place to explore that.
If you run into any bugs or have ideas, drop them in the comments.
Feedback is how this gets better.
Hope the colony runs smoothly. Or chaotically. Azu would prefer
