Any Pawn Can Repair Mechs

Tired of your elite engineers standing around while your mechs fall apart just because they aren't "Mechanitors"? This mod strips away those arbitrary restrictions.


Features

  • No Link Required:
    You don't need a linked Mechlink. Any pawn capable of Smithing can now repair friendly mechanoids.
  • Skill-Based:
    Repair speeds still scale with your pawn's actual stats.

Why was this made?

Let’s be real: requiring a Mechlink just to weld a metal plate back onto a robot makes zero sense. Your master smiths and engineers shouldn't be standing around uselessly just because they don't have a chip in their brains.

I made this to cut the gatekeeping and let anyone with the right skills keep your frontline mechs running.


FAQ

Q: Can I add/remove it mid-game?
A: Yes, you can add or remove it at any time.

Q: Can Mechanoids do the repairs too?
A: Nope. That's why I recommend Fabricors can repair mechs.
