1.4.1 UPDATE!
Rebalanced armor again, made it slightly more effective across the board, and tweaked the coverage of some armors; I.E, Simple Pauldrons no longer cover arms, and Simple Chausses are now Simple Greaves, which occupy the middle leg layer but can now be paired with the new ACTUAL Simple Chausses to provide two layers of protection at the cost of mobility.
Flak visors are no longer stuffable. Apologies :(
Visors can now be worn by children!
Added bracers, greaves, and rerebraces as well. Also new textures for Wooden Chausses and Simple Chausses, since the old ones were S T A N K.

1.4 UPDATE!
Added "Ablative Armor Visor", an expensive high-tech visor which can layer over almost any helmet and provide an impressive extra bit of protection.
Most armor was nerfed (5~20%), at least slightly - visors, shoulder pads, and greaves especially.
Now ALSO ADDS ARMOR FOR CHILDREN! Children's armor is less effective than adult armor in almost every way, but slightly cheaper and easier to make as well. WILL NO LONGER FLAG ERRORS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BIOTECH, it will simply not be loaded in.
Child Armor

Adds a number of highly vanilla-styled and balanced armor items, ranging from chausses to cover your legs to simple breastplates for your less-advanced militias, and visors for your noggin!
Each piece is designed to try and fit a gap between the vanilla pre-marine armor tiers, however niche they may be. chausses allow you to wear fancy-pants while stayin' armored, while shoulder guards offer a lighter weight and more open alternative to bulky flak jackets and parkas to both protect yourself AND look cool!
