What is included/changed?
Adds CnC Tiberian Dawn GDI map selection music to the main menu of Rimworld.
Why did I make this?
I fell in love with C&C as a kid, playing Tiberium Dawn on my Playstation, late into the night. The sounds and music by Frank Klepacki is iconic, and I occasionally listen to the music while working.
Fast forward to today, we now have Rimworld and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1346865620][b]Tiberium Rim[/b][/url], which I have been trying out during its development. Though I really like the concept and implementation, it felt like the iconic music was missing, so, here we are.
What this does not do
There is no change to the graphic used on the main menu, something that [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1346865620][b]Tiberium Rim[/b][/url] does to match the theme.
I was contemplating replacing other sounds in Rimworld, but I realized that there are surprisingly few sounds that would fit replacing. Many sounds are very generic, which also makes it hard to find fitting general sounds that would matter. Maybe sounds for UI could be possible, but for now, I am sticking with just the main menu music.
