If you load after Vanilla Factions Expanded - Ancients, it will behave as the point defense turret does (shoots incoming artillery / drop pods).

Original mod notes (1.2):
This mod adds a research tech and a new turret.
The research tech flak turret requires vanilla tech autocannon turret and costs 1600 research time.
The flak turret is more accurate and has a higher range than the vanilla cannon turret.
The fire power (damage) is bit lower, but the fire rate is higher. Armor penetration is slightly higher.
Costs steel, 45 plasteel and 7 components.
Barrel change cost is same as autocannon turret.
