Mood Stablizers

I created this mod because I got tired of babysitting colonist moods in the late game and wanted a way to manage them with implants. Adds mood stablizer implants and advanced mood stablizer implants to RimWorld, helping colonists maintain emotional stability, reduce stress, and improve resilience. Includes new research, crafting recipes, and surgery options for installation and removal. Advanced models offer greater mood benefits for demanding environments. All images were generated using AI, but if anyone wants to help create custom artwork, I'd love to use those instead! Of course, credit will be given. Research requires Bionics tech as a prerequisite. Mood Stablizer Implant: A basic neural implant designed to help colonists keep their emotions steady. It gently corrects stress signals in the brain, making it easier for people to recover from bad news and avoid emotional outbursts. This implant is affordable and effective for most colonies, reducing the need to constantly manage colonist moods. Effects: Adds +8 Mood boost from the Mood Stablizer as long as the part is installed. Advanced Mood Stablizer Implant: A high-end version of the mood stablizer, built for more demanding environments. It uses better sensors and faster processing to keep emotions balanced, even under pressure. Colonists with this implant experience a stronger sense of calm and resilience, making them less likely to be affected by stress or frustration. Effects: Adds +15 Mood boost from the Mood Stablizer as long as the part is installed. These parts are intentionally hard to get in both resources and research as they are intended for late game. How they work in-game: • Both implants can be crafted at the fabrication bench and installed through surgery. • The advanced version provides a bigger boost to mood than the basic one but is far more expensive. • These implants help your colonists stay happy and productive, especially in the late game when mood problems are more common.
