Combat Extended compatibility patch for Miho's Bulgasal Grenade Mech, adding dual fire mode for its 57mm grenade launcher.
In the original mod description, this mech should have a grenade launching ability, but this ability was lost in the CE, making this mech a useless unit that can only fire grenades directly. So I made this patch to allow the mech to switch between direct fire and indirect fire modes.
Features:
- Adds a fire mode toggle button for the mech, allowing switching between direct fire and indirect fire
Balance:
- HE/HEAT/EMP/Thermobaric rounds: Maintain full damage and explosion in indirect mode, but have significant firing inaccuracy like vanilla mortars
- AP rounds: 60% damage and penetration in indirect mode
- Canister rounds: 60% damage and penetration in indirect mode, increased spread
- Reload time reduced from 9s to 4.6s:
· The 9s reload time set by CE is completely unreasonable, making the mech nearly useless even with indirect fire mode
· For comparison: vanilla 90mm cannon has 9.8s reload, 81mm mortar has 5s reload, and Miho's own 47mm cannon from the same tech tree only requires 4.5s reload
