Hello everyone! Bellos has created a remake :) It's based on the Z543, my very first warship. The remake offers significantly more, though.
Let's get started
[b]Weapons[/b]
- The weapons now look much better and stand upright (a major issue with the Z543).
- There are two sets of two large autocannons with radar at the front.
- And two sets of two small autocannons.
Then we have the missile launcher. In the original, there were two small missile launchers because I couldn't build torpedoes. In the Z543, the missile launchers have been combined into one large missile launcher, which is now located in the center of the ship and can fire to the sides.
- I've revamped the large autocannons at the rear.
The two small autocannons have been replaced, and there are now two machine guns on the bridge. The bridge now looks cleaner from the outside, and there are no more bugs.
The Z543 has a new look. [b]Propulsion[/b]
The most important thing is the propulsion system. I've worked hard to improve it, but it's difficult to optimize. It now reaches 36 knots. This is due to:
- 2x Medium Motors
- New Adjustable Propeller (the pitch is now automatically adjusted for maximum efficiency)
- More Batteries
- One Engine that can be switched on to generate electricity
- Many old blocks that now only serve as ballast.
- There's also an emergency stop button that brings the ship to an immediate halt.
[b]Living Area[/b]
The old ship had living areas with three berths; the new ship has four.
- The sleeping area is now one large room and looks significantly different from the older ship.
[b]General[/b] I can't list everything here, but there's a big difference between the Z543 and the Z643. As mentioned before, it's much cleaner and more efficient.
[b]Some tests I conducted[/b]
- A race between the two ships: After one minute without unlimited power, the Z543 only travels at about 10 knots (the older ship doesn't have a speedometer). The Z643 can engage its generator and has significantly more batteries. The higher speed is evident with the [u]Z643[/u], so it won the [u]speed test[/u].
[i]However, the Z643 can sustain power for about 20 minutes or longer (I only tested it for 20 minutes, and the ship ran flawlessly).[/i]
- The Z643's performance is significantly better thanks to the physics-based flooder and the lower block count.
While the newer ship has fewer weapons, its accuracy has doubled, and even an amateur marksman (like myself) can now shoot accurately.
