This is one of the several mods my husband asked me to make for his colonies some time ago. I decided to upgrade them and share.
Why? If you're playing with one or very few pawns in rich colony, you need more protection and firepower - these weapons are for you. More effective on large groups of raiders.

New weapons are called PU-145. Created by Glittertech scientist Ann Aquamarine. She used her psycaster powers to infuse plasteel with strange blue energy known only to her. Weapons she made were shiny blue, more powerful but also more dangerous. The performance of the super advanced machinery and parts made from this psy-plasteel is so high it is beyond belief. She labeled them "PU-145". She said that these letters are related to some mythical animal but noone knows what kind of animal she was reffering to.
Glittertech sold the patent, yet only few crafters are able to assemble these weapons.

A: Yes!
[b]Q: What kind of fancy materials?[/b]
A: Any metallic. If you want to assemble PU-145 keep in mind that Rimworld resources have their own stats. Something build from steel has worse stats than something from plasteel. You can make PU-145 from any material that is 'metallic' from any mod. Material used for crafting affect only weapons hp not damage. Better dmg stats are related to weapons tier. I made them because I don't like weapons detoriate and have low hp.
The fanciest metals? Archotech Expanded - nano, pico and attomachinery.
