On their way to quell a rebellion in britain, Legio IX Hispania marched through the swirling mists of Caledonia. When the mist cleared they found themselves in a strange land besett by insect as large as mules with deadly claws and fangs. Fighting for their very life they barely escaped the insects, strange metal beast shooting light that could pierce through armour like butter, strange humans with familiar weapons and humans with strange iron contraptions.
