REMARKS
The pugnacious personnel carrier of a
Federal tank regiment’s attached infantry,
and a general replacement to the erstwhile
Grumble in more elite units. Still lightly
armored, but packs better cross-country
mobility and vastly superior firepower (in
turn reducing personnel carriage capacity).
Primary armament is the 2K28 low pressure gun, firing HEAT ammunition similar
to that ofinfantry recoilless rifles. For longrange anti-tank use, a “pop-up” launcher
with two 9GR1 ATGMs is provided. Smoke
launchers partially negate its poor armor.
With good ground and tactics, the Bantam
can hold its own against enemy armor, and
has the firepower to closely support its
disembarked infantry. It is not, however, a
real tank, and shouldn’t attack like one.
