Ah, your colonists are about to meet in the afterlife, and Randy has just summoned 40 Centipedes from the void right outside your door. You want to do something, but feel that using God Mode is just too cheap? Or perhaps, you are a meddlesome Archotech intelligence yourself, but find excessive intervention a bit too boring? Then focus your divine power into your mouse cursor—and just give it a poke!
This is a very simple mod: it condenses a fraction of Archotech power into your extra-dimensional cursor, allowing you to interfere with reality with just a few clicks. When your power is off cooldown, hover your cursor over a unit, and it will glow with a divine golden light. Then, click rapidly a few times, and something interesting will happen. By default, the cooldown for interacting with friendly units is 120 seconds, and 60 seconds for hostile units. Only one event will be triggered at a time. What can it do? For your colonists: • When bleeding heavily, their blood loss progression might suddenly recede, and the most severe bleeding wound will be tended. • When critically injured, their most severe wound will heal slightly and receive a light tend. • When sick, the disease progression will be slowed down. • When in extreme pain, they will gain a temporary pain-relief buff. • When in a bad mood, they will receive a mood boost. • During a mental break, there is a chance to snap them out of it immediately—this isn't guaranteed; it takes a bit of luck. • If they are hauling, they gain a movement speed boost; if working, they gain a work speed boost. • On rare occasions, a colonist might even receive an epiphany and gain an Inspiration! • If nothing else applies, they will receive a very minor mood boost. For your enemies (Probability from high to low): • Stun! You strike the enemy's brain or processor with your Archotech finger, stunning them for 3 seconds and resetting their aiming time. You can even use this to interrupt a Diabolus firing! • Expelliarmus! With a flick of your Archotech finger, their weapon drops to the ground. And thanks to Tynan's mysterious AI, they probably won't pick it up again XD. • Break a leg! You feel this guy standing there is an insult to you, so you use Archotech power to deal enough damage to their legs to floor a Wimp instantly. • Go Berserk! The Psychic Insanity Lance is basically your patent, so of course, you can do that too. • (Anomaly DLC Exclusive) The Ultimate Insult! You recognize this as a toy of the dark Archotech, so you use a fraction of your power to leave a permanent wound on this entity—usually on the spine or brain. • Bang! A lightning bolt strikes. Though not very useful, it looks cool! Q&A Q: CE? A: I guess it should work. Q: Balance? A: Balance? Q: Can I add it mid-save? A: Yes.
