Built in france 1976 as "Edelweiss", sold to the Faroe Islands in 1986 and renamed "Núgvunes". This version is from 1991, when she was renamed "Sæborg". Later she was renamed "Sæborg I" (2003), "Gullberg" (2004) "Barið" (2008) and "Streymsund" (2025). Sometime over the years she would be refitted from trawler to longliner.
