Overview
This mod merges [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2492243369]Barely Restricted Spots[/url] and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2491806757]Barely Visible Spots[/url] into one, now tagged for 1.4.
This allows you to place spots upon buildings. You could, for example, place a crafting spot upon a table, a party spot along a bar counter, or a meditation spot upon a chair.
In the provided screenshot, there is both a crafting spot and a party spot on the table in the same space.
It also allows you to make spots invisible, or subtle.

Note that, like other mods that allow placing things upon buildings, it requires a small amount of self-policing. You could, for example, place a crafting spot on top of a wall... and who would want to do that?!
This is a lightweight xml-only patch and can be freely added or removed from games.

A. Go to the mod options -> Vanilla Expanded Framework, there's a checkbox in there to make this function sequential instead of random.
