Malevolence - Colefordian Frigate
[i]Description[/i]
The Malevolence-class is a "standard" medium frigate of the Colefordian Navy acting on the Distant Frontier.
These frigates possess a good balance between firepower, speed and agility, capable of going toe to toe with any Montrian warship of adjacent size, and a good countering force for their Hunters.
Malevolence-class initially was planned to be a 24-gunner 6th rate frigate, with 4 hulls built with an original configutation, but as the war progressed, eventually the Colefordian medium frigates began to decline, and in a dire need of 44-gunners, the Malevolences were retrofitted with an additional armed weather deck and stern chasers, and the new ones were laid down already changed. They are known as Audace subclass, but visually they have no differences from the original-retrofit.
In the official Imperial Naval ranking system, the Malevolence-class is a 5th rate.

Draught: 4.5 meters.
Mast Height: 37 meters.
Maximum speed: 13 knots @ 20% wind.

40 guns: 13+7 per broadside.

[b]Sailing[/b]
Find a handle on the left side of the helm, controls are labelled.
When Sailing close to the wind, it is recommended to switch to Manual Sail [2] and swing the yards hard over to continue sailing at speed.
[b]Firing[/b]
Find a handle of either ship's broadsides.
Press [1] and wait for guns to roll out.
Hold [Trigger] to fire a salvo.
Press [2] and [3] to close firing on the Weather Deck and Gundeck respectively.
The stern chasers are mouse-aimed.
