The SS Leeroy is a fictional great lakes freighter meant for carrying minerals like coal, iron, ect. The ship was made in 1970's and is named after my great grandfather who serviced in the marines and fought in Vietnam.
How to sink: Press 6 in the helm.
Story: In 1975 December 7 at 1:45 AM the SS Leeroy was on its way to drop off a load of coal and iron. But it was hit by a huge wave that then punctured holes in the bottom of the ship and the inside. The ship slowly started sinking and after a few minutes it broke in half and the front half sunk side ways and the stern section flipped over upside down and sunk and the funnel collapsed. Both lifeboats where deployed but with no one inside.
Conditions while it sunk: Completely foggy, waves almost as tall as the ship but slowly died down while it sunk, and a thunderstorm.
