This is a Dash-8 Q100, built and designed by De Havilland Canada. The Q100 varient is the shortest and oldest version of the Dash-8. Bombardier bought DHC and owned it for nearly 20 years! That includes the Dash 8. The Dash 8 was named to the Q series while under the Bombardier brand. As of now, DHC has been bought back from Bombardier by a private company. The Dash 8 paused production due to the pandemic, however, DHC has announced plans to bring it back in the next few years. Check out my other Dash 8 models!
