BACKGROUND
Built by Dougcraft Avionics since 1968, the P15F Seaplane is a versatile amphibious variant of the rugged P15 chassis, designed for remote coastal, river, and island operations. Fitted with reinforced twin floats, it delivers stable water takeoffs and landings in challenging conditions. The aircraft is powered by a single nose-mounted propeller driven by a supercharged 10-cylinder diesel engine, ensuring dependable performance. Its advanced cockpit features autopilot, flight stability systems, radio, and radar for safe and efficient navigation. Configured with seating for six occupants, the P15F is ideal for transporting crews and supplies to and from isolated maritime locations. With airspeeds exceeding 120 knots and an overall length of 10 meters, the P15F remains a compact yet capable utility seaplane.
This particular unit is owned and operated by OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency.
