This is the LR-62-6. A completely ground up build by me. This is my first ever ground up train so be easy on me. She is packed with everything you need to be a decent railroader. She is able to pull RCU railcars. While it doesn't have the microcontroller for it, it can still pull them.
Wolf Industries introduces it's first line of commercial train engines available on the market. The designation LR-62-6 Stands for Light Rail, 6 Car Max, 2 trucks, 6 wheels each. This unit is equipped with a diesel electric hybrid system. 2 Diesel Engines act as generators to power the locomotive. While 2 medium motors power the wheels directly. It is able to run without the generators but will need to be recharged if the battery runs out. This unit is a prototype and has been sent to select train lines. This specific unit belongs to Sawyer rail lines.
Smart Lighting: The unit is equipped with smart lighting. This means that if a car is coupled on the rear, the EOT (End of Train) light will deactivate. If the unit is put into reverse the front running lights (If engaged) will disengage and the front EOT light will engage.
Single Stage Gearbox: The unit is equipped with a SSG. Or Single Stage Gearbox. This means that the train only has 2 viable gears. Foward and reverse. Removing the need for excess gearing and making maintaining the unit easier.
Warning Lights: The train is equipped with red warning lights along the body of the unit. They mark critical areas such as doorways, fuel ports, front and rear, along with floor level and roof level of the engine.
Sleek body: Though the front end is not the most smooth it's body was designed to break through the air with ease. It has side skirts that go nearly to the ground.
