Strike the Earth! - Stone
Adds colourful stones inspired by Dwarf Fortress! All stones should have balanced and original stats in accordance with vanilla.
Note that the buildable floors and walls are brighter than the natural stone. The walls and floors are more similar to the original colours I wanted to use, but I had to desaturate the natural stone so that it didn't look too jarring on the map. Colours used are subject to change, but I hope it fulfils your dream of having a bright, colourful fort colony.
The colours are inspired by the original Classic Dwarf Fortress, not the new Steam version, which has colours that are less bright. :)
After a lot of planning, I whittled down the huge number of rocks in Dwarf Fortress to a few generally non-economic stone types. These should represent the most colourful and interesting available from the game that are not also metal-bearing ores, or gem-bearing, so I don't need to add anything extra like metal, gems, or making plaster casts for now.
Jet is probably the worst stone in the game, but it is very light, and can also be used to make chemfuel and as an alternate fuel source for fueled buildings. Both jet chunks and blocks have this capability.
If you'd like to disable any of the stones in this mod, try Cherry Picker.
