Wildlife Control
Description:
Take control of your RimWorld's wildlife population with the Wildlife Control mod! This mod allows you to set a limit on the number of wild animals on your map without affecting your colony, enemy, or tamed animals.
Features:
- Set a maximum limit for wild animals on your map
- Automatically removes excess animals based on specific criteria
- Easy-to-use settings menu to adjust the maximum wild animal limit
How it works:
The Wildlife Control mod adds a new settings menu where you can set the maximum number of wild animals allowed on your map. The mod then checks the current wild animal population and removes excess animals based on the following criteria in order:
1. Health: Animals with lower health percentages are prioritized for removal.
2. Permanent injuries: Animals with permanent injuries are more likely to be removed.
3. Age: Older animals, especially those closer to their life expectancy, are prioritized for removal.
4. Species group size: Animals from larger species groups are more likely to be removed.
This helps maintain a balanced wildlife population without affecting your colony or tamed animals.
Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with most other RimWorld mods. However, it has not been tested with every possible mod combination. If you encounter any issues, please report them in the mod's discussion section.
Installation:
1. Subscribe to the mod on Steam Workshop.
2. Enable the mod in the Mods menu in RimWorld.
3. Restart RimWorld to apply the changes.
