F/V Market Price was built in 2024 as a Brand new 57ft Lobster boat From Wes mac.
She is located in Winter Harbor, Maine.
She fishes Lobster and does seine fishing for Bait or Pogey fish.
The Boat has been very reliable to its owner, never having been broken down or out of service.

These Next steps will teach you how to fish and longline the pots effectively.
Setting

[*] Before setting the 3 pot string you first need to lower the gate on the back, The switch is located on the Port side at the very back of the boat, This will allow you to push your pots off the back.
[*] Next grab a buoy from the rack located on the port side of the boat. Place this buoy Behind the stack or in an open place for when you have to attach the rope to it.
[*] Grab a rope from either the rope locker, or the rope next to the hauling area, Attach this rope to a Rope anchor on the Outmost pot on the top right, or top left.
[*] Now push the pots off the back, [u]they may become stuck[/u], you'll have to use the handles to maneuver them around
[*] Now attach your rope once it stops jittering in you hand to the [b]Bottom[/b] of the buoy. This will make it easier to retrieve. After it is attached just throw it off the boat and into the water.

Retrieving

[*] When Retrieving pots, pull the boat up and make sure the buoy is on the [b]Starboard or Right[/b] side of the boat.
[*] Then crouch onto the side of the boat and grab the electric connector that is facing up. Pull the buoy on the boat and place it onto one of the 2 electric connectors on the starboard side.
[*] Grab the rope from the bottom and attach it onto the Pulley "block" and click the button to retract the winch and bring your pots up.
[*] Once your pots are up, Take your crab out of the Pot and put it in the Hold tanks.
[*] Go into the wheelhouse and grab the Remote controller in front of the map. Select Channel 2 for the Boom on the boat. Hold (D) to move it starboard.
[*] Grab a rope and attach the pot to the crane, then use the controller to pull the pot up until you can see the bottom rope anchors.
[*] Take the rope thats on the bottom of the first pot and put that on the Pulley to pull it up. Now use another rope to tie the First pot to the side of the boat. Now use the rope that was attached from the Boom-pot and use that rope to attach to the second pot.
[*] Once you have the crab out of the second pot. Use the boom to bring it up and make sure to unattach the rope from pot-pulley. Once you unattach the rope from the bottom of the second pot and put it on the pulley. Take the rope that was tied to the side of the boat and put that on the second pot. Then Take the rope from the boom and attach that to the side.
[*] Now repeat for the third pot. Once all 3 pots are on the side of the boat All you have to do to reset them is unhook the rope and hold it until the rope stops jittering, then just reattach the rope to the bottom of the buoy and throw it over.
