Description
This is the all new 46m J class Noregr, with sleek curves and a very steep angled bow and stern. Designed for high performance cruising and racing in moderate seas. With a mostly wooden interior finish featuring a fireplace in the main living room. She features 3 very powerful pulley operated electric winches to control the sails and a medium winch for the Yankee to be stowed away. She can sail at a small angle upwind due to the substantial size of the Yankee. Finished with a team deck. Since the boat is so large yet has such a low freeboard, she gets very wet and a lot of the time when sailing her to the fullest you will get a bit of wash on the deck on the opposite tack. Be careful not to overpower her as she can easily flood when overpowered as the main entrance sits quite low. The Fuel tanks only provide enough fuel for a small voyage, the boat is intended for sailing and can sail 8-13 knots in light conditions and 15-17 knots in stronger winds.
The winch on the mast is meant to be used to stow away the Yankee when its not being used.
The Anchor Locker at the front obviously is used to store the anchor while at sea
