This mod can use other mod's sulfurs but it adds it's own sulfur.
Ferret's Gunpowder and Sulfur is a mod that expands on Rimworld's crafting with the addition of Gunpowder and Sulfur.
Gunpowder is made of sulfur and coal/charcoal at a 15:10 ratio, and used in the creation of ammunition and explosives.
Sulfur can be mined or extracted from chemfuel.

Recipe changes. On your end this means that you can mix different coals/charcoals from different mods, as well as using the both coal and charcoal from the same mod. On my end, this makes patching different ingredient mods way easier.
Patched Medical Supplements to be usable in gunpowder production.
Patched Yayo's Combat to make ammo need gunpowder.
