After the engineers at QT corp realized that you can't use supersonic fighter jets for literally everything they started a program. Originally stemming from a boring training aircraft, QT corp decided quote: "That's for nerds" and "Only wimps need training" leading them to take out the back seat and slap some cool stolen weapons on it.
The Sparrowhawk turned out to be a small capable, and most importantly cheap aircraft being made of 60% recycled ideas and 70% parts found in the dumpster. Even with costing less than a 2002 Civic it still manages to be quite capable with decent missile capacity and a gun lovingly called "Temu GAU-8." With these varied armament options the AS-9 came to be known by militant groups around the world for easy maintenance and being turned to shrapnel by actual fighters.

The Sparrowhawk has a top speed of ~650 kph, a thrust to weight of SW/1 and a decent turn rate for a wimpy ground attack jet.
It carries an armament of 4 Falkner Muir RGM-30 Cruise Missiles 4 RM-19 AGMs and 2 IRM-11s AAMs
along with a high ROF auto cannon with 300 rounds of 20x101 capable of tearing up any armor, ship, ambulance, minivan, really whatever you need to have a lot of small holes in.
It doesn't have radar, it doesn't have IFF, but its one neat little airplane
