Sawyer Nuclear Power Plant
--This add-on adds a Nuclear Power Plant to the Sawyer Island.--
Reactor is a Pressurized Water Reactor or PWR. The facility is designed in Soviet Style and has realistic equipment and functions.
**STARTUP**
To get the place up and running head towards the control room. Once there deactivate the shutdown cooling pumps.
Afterwards turn on the Reactor Automatic Control or raise the Rods Manually. Turn on Primary Loop Pumps to Increase flow and efficency.
Feedwater Pre-Heaters can be turned on if needed. Feedwater Pumps and Condenser Pumps can be turned on if needed.
The Reactor should soon be starting to generate steam and turn the turbines. The turbine RPM should increase and the generator clutch can be engaged.
The Turbine Bypass Valve should be open to around 0.18 for maximum condenser efficency. The Deaerator's Water Level may not be too high for it to function properly so Deaerator Auto. Drain is recommended.
