A Train Caboose
Includes a kitchen, desk and two tables for 2. Features 4 beds for crew to sleep in.
History:
In their earliest days, they were created by repurposing old train cars as crew quarters to house trainmen while they were on the go. The word “caboose” is supposedly derived from the Dutch word “kombuis,” which was the term used to describe a ship's galley.
Technology eventually advanced to a point where the railroads, in an effort to save money by reducing crew members, stated that cabooses were unnecessary. New diesel locomotives had large cabs that could house entire crews.
