Flak Armor: SpecOps Edition

Tired of your pawns looking basic with a flak vest? Feeling ridiculous bringing plate armor to a gunfight? Ever wished there was a full body armor piece for the industrial era just like for all the other eras? Well, look no further, I bring to you... *drumroll*... the pinnacle of military engineering tech for the industrial era, bulky, but sexy flak armor. Does it require Research? It unlocks with Flak Armor research. And yes, this armor is just called Flak Armor. That way you have a consistent progression of going from full body plate armor, to flak armor, recon armor and then marine armor. what layers does it use? This armor takes up middle and shell layers like all other vanilla full body armor. How does it compare to the rest of the vanilla armor? Well, here is my take on it. Flak Armor (FA) vs. Plate Armor (Steel) (PAS)

FA smokes PAS out of the water, next.
Flak Armor (FA) vs. Plate Armor (Plasteel) (PAP)

About the same protection.
FA offers better insulation.
FA has a lower move speed penalty.
PAP has more than twice the durability/hitpoints.
Flak Armor (FA) vs. Flak vest + Flak Pants + Flak Jacket / Duster (BASIC)

FA offers better overall protection.
FA is slightly more durable.
BASIC offers the best torso protection, if you like peg legs.
BASIC offers better insulation.
BASIC has a lower move speed penalty.
BASIC is cheaper and easier to obtain.
Flak Armor (FA) vs. Recon Armor (RA)

RA has no move speed penalty.
RA offers better insulation.
RA offers slightly better protection.
FA ???
Flak Armor (FA) vs. Marine Armor (MA)

MA has lower move speed penalty.
MA offers much better insulation.
MA offers better protection.
FA ???
Overall, it gives you close to spacer armor protection, but is bulky due to the lack of power-assisted movement. Although the wearer has to take on all the extra weight, advances in machining allow it to still be lighter than a full suit of plate armor. Combat Extended compatible? No, and I don't plan on patching it. Feel free to make a patch for it though, release separately or let me know and I'll include it here and credit you for it. Can you make this stuffable? Check out -> Vanilla Stuffable Armor by CrazedMonkey243, it has a patch to make this mod stuffable. Nah, but do check out my other mod (universal patcher to extend armor coverage to hands and feet) -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2596988484 That's it. That's all you get.
