Articulated Frame with Diesel Electric Drive
An 8x8 diesel electric frame that is hinged in the middle, creating an "articulated" style vehicle, the engine is connected to a generator which powers the electric motors.
The engine is RPS limited to 20 RPS to reduce noise and increase efficiency for long term use.
An array of air tanks allows the generator to run while submerged in water. It is recommended to leave the pumps active while the generator is running to keep the tanks full.
A flip switch panel allows for changing steering modes, of which there are five:
1. Normal mode (wheels steer and hinge bends) *this is the normal mode when it spawns*
2. Wheel Steering Disabled (only the hinge bends)
3. Front wheel steer (disables rear wheel steering)
4. Rear wheel steer (disables front wheel steering)
5. Articulation Disabled (locks the hinge in place)
