Corby 33 Racing Yacht

This is a symmetric rigged racing yacht with each spinnaker system being made to work similarly to the actual yacht. -Use infinite electrics -Yes you do have to helm, crew and do the foredeck manually all at once... good luck! -When going in optimal conditions it can hit 20knts+ -If this is a little complicated try my symmetric version!!!! or try both....! --General-- ->The steering angle is at what point you release the button, the momentum will overcorrect slightly then bring you back to the desired heading. I suggest tapping the button to fine tune. ->Best upwind vmg is just off close hauled ->Use the trim lever to raise the nose, it is very sensitive ->Good luck not falling overboard!!!! --Main-- -> On the right of the entrance to the gangway, you have the two controls, shrink main and main halyard. -> To raise the main, push the "main halyard" button and wait till its about halfway up the mast, then deactivate the "Shrink Main" button to tension the sail. -> To lower hit the "Shrink Main" button and deactivate the "Main Halyard" ->Main Winches are winched from the position they are on the real boat, winching from behind the helm. --Jib-- ->On the left of the entrance to the gangway, you have 3 jib controls. Jib sheet controls are just to the left and right of the gangway. ->The jib begins fully tidied away, the only thing required is to ease the jib sheets to allow the tack to be tided ->Raising the jib - first, deactivate the "tidy" button and sheet the jib in fully to the desired side. Then deactivate the "Shrink Jib" button and finally deactivate the "Detension Halyard". ->Lowering the Jib - press the "Shrink Jib" button, then press tidy jib, let off the jib sheets and finally activate "Detension Halyard". --Spinnaker-- *Launching* ->Ease the spinnaker sheets from the back of the boat before launching. ->Move onto the foredeck. ->First prep the spinnaker pole. Remove the rope attaching the end of the pole to the front strut. Take this rope and attach the front strut to the desired clew of the spinnaker you want to attach the pole to. -> Now set the spinnaker pole. You want to be able to reach it with the pole being level. Also make sure to have both the Pole uphaul and Pole downhaul taught. The controls are on the right side of the mast. ->Move forwards and hit the "Call Spinnaker" button from just underneath the Strut ->When 1/2 way up detach the point from which the clew is attached to the strut and connect it to the spinnaker pole. ->Move backwards and set the spinnaker with the two sheets. *Dropping* ->Move forwards to the foredeck ->Hit the "Spike Spinnaker" and then the "Call spinnaker" button. ->move back to the mast and lower the pole back to the floor ->connect the winch on the pole to the tie off point to the strut.
