The Scout is a single engine exploration/scouting plane. It is great for scouting out locations, rescue mission objectives, etc. It goes about 200 knots and can cover sawyer's landmass in a couple of minutes at full power.
It has a 4 cylinder engine with 140L of fuel and about an hour of runtime at full power. There are lights, 4 instrument gauges, and some seat-toggled features like takeoff/landing flaps. All of that is optional to use but the takeoff flaps greatly reduce ground roll distance.
There aren't any altitude hold, heading hold, or fancy autopilots. Just a simple half-working gyro that either has you in a slight climb or descent. Disabling the stabilization allows for more freedom of movement, but it's recommended to have it enabled (it's on by default) for takeoff.
