Chaparral Biome

1.6 - Waiting to update until after Odyssey releases to see how it interacts with Biomes. Adds a chaparral biome, found in Mediterranean climates on earth, with temperate winters, hot summers, and dense growth subject to intense wildfires. These biomes can be found in hilly terrain near large bodies of water, where cool, moist air rises to form frequent fog banks. In Rimworld terms, it inhabits the area between arid shrubland and temperate forests, but is thickly grown and difficult to traverse. While chaparral appears in numerous places on good old Earth, I chose to base this biome on the chaparral found in western North America (apologies to all the maquis, matorral, fynbos, and kwongan fans out there). I used a large diversity of trees (rather than the typical two per biome) to reflect the diversity of this region. All animals are found in North America (or the nearest Rimworld equivalent), except for muffalos which were demanded by a very insistent beta tester. All plants and animals are vanilla, unless patched in from an optional mod. Mod compatibilities: Alpha Bees: temperate and mild hives spawn appropriately. Vanilla Fishing Expanded: fishing works Vanilla Plants Expanded: both apple trees and opuntia call chaparral home Vanilla Animals Expanded: coyotes, black bears, and rattlesnakes replace timberwolves, grizzlies, and cobras. I am not aware of any hard incompatibilities, although modded plants and animals from other mods may not spawn in chaparral. I will listen to requests with no promises that I will implement anything. Keep in mind that I have tried to keep this as "realistic" as possible, so other than muffalos and thrumbos I will not be adding any extraterrestrial species.
