Quick History of the IJN Mutsuki
The IJN Mutsuki was the lead ship of her class, built for the Imperial Japanese Navy in the 1920s. She was part of Destroyer Division 30 and part of several major operations during World War II, including the Battle of Wake Island and the Guadalcanal Campaign. Mutsuki was equipped with four 12 cm guns and two triple 610 mm torpedo tubes, making her a threat in early Pacific engagements. She measured 102.4 meters in length, 9.16 meters in width, and had a top speed of over 37 knots. Mutsuki was ultimately sunk by American bombers during the Battle of the Eastern Solomons in August 1942.
Have fun and enjoy.
