LHA-2 Amphibious Assault Ship
I'm a former Navy sailor and after making a couple surface warfare vessels on (FFG-46 and FFG-59) on the workshop, I wanted to make an amphibious helicopter landing ship so I designed LHA-2!

Just like my other ships, this ship has a ton of great systems bolted on and created by many talented builders who have shared their amazing work on the workshop. I'll list below and link where possible all the things you'll find from others in this vessel.
Start up: Right of the helm in the bridge you will see two key switches. Turn them both on to start the engines. Watch the ECU screens to see when the engines are up and running. You can use the throttle to the left of the helm to propel the boat. Be mindful there is a prop pitch throttle to the right of the helm you will have to advance forward for the blades to move the ship forward. There is a reverser button forward of the left throttle lever. You could also just make the prop pitch negative and itll do the same thing without having to use the reverser toggle button.
Armament:
This ship comes with 4 .50 cal machine guns installed on the port and starboard catwalks. Additionally, there are 4 7.62mm machine guns around the ship. Two are above the bridge, one is on the stern, and one is on the port side catwalk. There is a security locker back aft for personal weapons. There is also a rifle stowed in the bridge if needed for immediate defense. There is an armory below the forward catwalk entrances, just go one deck down via a hatch. The small boat also has a rifle and bow mounted 7.62mm machine gun for security picket duties or VBSS operations.
There is also a 32 count missile launcher for anti-air and anti-surface threats.
Sensors:
A large surface search radar scope is mounted in the bridge and displays targets up to 12km away. There is an RWR system that will automatically dispense chaff from 4 6-pack SRBOC style launchers. The chaff dispense can be set to manual if desired.
Aviation:
Equipped with a recovery assist style system using magnet connections. The aircraft control shack attached at the port side of the bridge houses the magnet controls and a TACAN station that can be tuned up to aid helicopter navigation back to the ship. The catwalk on the port side has 4 reels that can dispense fuel, both diesel and jet, to aircraft. Inside the hangar bay are connections to refuel. The refueling tractor on the flight deck can also dispense fuel.

Engineering:
The ship has 8 fuel tanks and the ship can receive fuel from the UNREP station on the starboard waist. The controls for fuel transfers are all housed in the ballast and fuel control room. There are 8 ballast tanks which can fill and drain by controls located in this space. The received fuel from the outside gets brought in to tank #3 and you can then move it around to other tanks via the tank controls.
There two AC plants that pumps cold air into some spaces throughout the ship using a set of cryocoolers. There is also a water plant that takes sea water and makes potable water to send to the various sinks, showers, and toilets throughout the ship. The toilets drain into a sewage black water tank that will need to be overboard discharged when the tank is full. You can choose to treat this water as well as the ballast water. The sinks and shower drains will empty into a grey water tank with controls for discharge are located in the water plant room. The hot water tank feeds the showers throughout the ship. There is a cold store cooled by cryocoolers.
Damage Control:
Throughout the ship there are multiple fire hose stations that are fed firemain pumped up from fire main tank. The tank will need to be refilled if there is prolonged firefighting. Pump controls are in the engineering central control station. There are damage control repair lockers located throughout the ship and painted with a red colored door for easy identification. The #2 Generator room, paint store room, and engine room are covered by a fake HALON system using nitrogen instead. The paint store room also has a sprinkler system. The 50 cal magazine also has a sprinkler system to aid in firefighting.
Misc spaces:
There is a CO's stateroom below the pilot house with a full bathroom. There is a junior officer berthing, department head staterooms, and a lower enlisted berthing down in the engineering deck. There is a bathroom for the department head and JO berthings on the port side aft of the hangar. The enlisted berthing has its own bathroom. The sink has a fresh water connection. There is also a medical room for 1 medical bed.
