Improves the name generation for Stellic (Imperial) culture:
- Female last names are properly feminised on character generation
- Overhauled name lists, with roughly 10x more last names
It is rather obvious that Stellic culture names (used by the Empire faction in the Royalty DLC) are based on those of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire. But Greek language uses different last name forms for masculine and feminine: Alexios Komnenos, but Anna Komnene for instance. Usage of masculine last name forms for female pawns has been bugging me since the Royalty DLC was out, so I decided to fix it.
This mod replaces the name generator for the Stellic culture (and consequently stock Empire faction) by a ruleset that properly assigns feminine last names to women, at least on initial generation (this is as good as we can have it - all further family members will unfortunately inherit the form that was used first) and adds some new first names and lots of new last names. The names themselves come from Crusader Kings III.
This mod obviously requires Royalty to function. If you have Ideology, it will also affect any faction with Stellic culture.
Should not conflict with anything, as it literally just patches two lines in Stellic culture XML def. Works well with Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire. Can be added to ongoing saves, but will obviously affect only newly generated characters. Safe to remove from saves.
