A WWII era destroyer built by the germans as multirole and escort destroyers. Z-39 specifically was one of the only German ships to be operated in some capacity by the US navy after she was handed over to them through war reperations. She was operated under the name DD-939. My rendition of this ship is heavily based on it, with my own creative liberties.
All of her operations can be commanded by the bridge with torpedoes, mobility, lighting, and damage controls being in the front of the bridge, and the main and anti air armaments being in the aft part of the bridge.
