31,500-litre Diesel Tanker
To deal with the demands of freight contracts for transporting petroleum products from the northern regions, the SRFB constructed many tankers of this design from the early 1950s onwards. With a respectable capacity and safer operation (thanks to the improved air brakes that previous tankers had lacked) many refineries throughout the Sawyer Isles kept these tankers in service for the rest of the 20th century.
