2 Seater Midget Submarine that resembles the japanese Kairyu Class midged Submarine in it´s outer appearence. The Interieur is not historical.
The Front Seat is the Drivers position. The Back Seat has access to the Map and the Sonar System.
Starting Prozedure:
-aktivate the Periscope: Flip switch (Periskop aktivieren) on the right side.
-For instrument lighting turn the Key on your right side.
Electric enginge:
-the trottle for the electric engine is on your right side. set it to the prefered setting.
-aktivate the flip switch Elektromotor Kupplung at the bottom of your right side. this sets the Clutch to 1.
Diesel Engine:
-set the trottle in front to 1.
-open the Fuelvalve on your top left side
-aktivate the Flipswitch Dieselmotor Start on your bottom right side.
- you can check, if the engine is on by switching from the Periscope Camera to the backcamera. to do this, you use the flipdwitch Wechsel Kamera.
-aktivate the flip switch Dieselmotor Kupplung for recharging your Batteries or the flip switch Kupplung Dieselmotor Schraube on your Bottom right side for driving the Submarine with the Diesel-Engine.
Ballast Tankes:
there are 4 Toggle Buttons on the left in front of you. The ones with the Word fuellen flodd the Ballast tankes and the ones with the Word leeren empty the Ballast tankes. this might take a while.
Depthkeeping System:
-activate the System with the toggle Button Tiefenhalter an/aus.
-Set the wished depth via the small keybord on your bottom left side.
-0.9 -1.2 for surface
-3.5 for periscope depth
Warning:
-This Submarine is work in Progress, so many things still have Issues or are overcompicated.
- if the depth is changed via the depth keeping system (small keybord on the left side of the Pilot), make sure, that the incrase or decrease is done in small steps. otherwise the submarine will start to perform loopings, until the system is shut down.
-If the regular engine starter does not work, the engine can be started via the electric engine.
-A ventilation of the inside of the Submarine via the valve on the right side can leed to overpressure.
Be aware, that the Inscriptions inside the Submarine are in german!
