FINN CHALLENGER (MODDED)

Hello! Please let me know what you think of the interior and of the ship. Thank you! NEEDS INFINITE ELECTRIC!!!! _______________________________________________________________ The Finn Challenger Birth of a Pioneer (Late 2007) In December 2007, Finnish Ferries commissioned a state-of-the-art RoPax ferry to break speed and efficiency records on the Baltic sea routes. The ship would be called Finn Challenger, in honor of its pioneering waterjet drives. Finnish Ferries' board envisioned a ship that could handle peak holiday seasons as well as dangerous winter ice floes. Design & Construction (2008–2009) Diesel-propulsion system Two waterjets instead of conventional propellers for shallow draft maneuvering Ice-class 1A super Two sternramps (starboard and port) for vehicle loading and unloading Turku Marine Yard laid keel in spring 2008. Over the next 14 months, engineers added a compact diesel system. Pre-fabricated interior modules ashore allowed comfortable seating areas to "plug and play" before launching. Launch & Maiden Voyage (2010) Finn Challenger sailed into the Baltic on 15 May 2010. When named in Helsinki, her mayor quipped that she came in "like a dolphin built to pull cars." Two days later, she completed her inaugural Tallinn crossing in 82 minutes—some 20% faster than the previous record. Career Operation (2010–present) Daily Excellence Retained an average speed of 30 knots on Helsinki–Tallinn route Was 25% more fuel-efficient than other ships on the same route Zero engine failures in first 10,000 hours Memorable Moments Summer 2014: Gave a floating concert for the Baltic Music Festival Spring 2015: Had a nightclub fitted at the stern, increasing her appeal for night cruises and nightlife. Spring 2016: Spent some time on a marine biology survey—her low wake ideal for taking plankton samples Propulsion Diesel-powered system Waterjets 2 × Kahrstrom KM733 Waterjets Maximum Speed 39 knots Cruising Speed 30 knots Vehicle Capacity 50 vehicles (simultaneous stern loading) Passenger Capacity 301 passengers (comfortable seating) Dimensions 85 meters long, 16 meters wide Sister (2012–Present) By 2012, she had inspired one bigger sister ship to built to the same hybrid-waterjet design. _______________________________________________________________ Stats(incase you didn't read the text) 39knots 85Meters long 16 meters wide _______________________________________________________________ Preformance Not that bad actually. 70 fps with all but the cardeck lights on with my Lenovo lOQ 15IAX9 _______________________________________________________________ Needed mods: Thales Aviation Parts and Block Overhaul https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357808533 ilp0tt1's Decoration Mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3385569019 Ship Pack 4.0 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3358321411&searchtext=ship+pack Remember to activate the mods when making a new world!!! _______________________________________________________________ Recommended docks: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3523748347 _______________________________________________________________ Spawn: Use the mission editor to spawn it _______________________________________________________________ Cardeck: She has 2 stern ramps _______________________________________________________________ Boarding door: The code is 2009 _______________________________________________________________ How to operate: above the thorttle is the engine panel, you need to put the throttles to 20% to start.
