Autolader slider gun reset
The autoloader system is designed to automate the reloading process of the Battle cannon. Once a round is fired, the gun automatically returns to its neutral or "zero" position, typically aligned with the vehicle's chassis and at a preset elevation. This reset position ensures safe and efficient loading by aligning the breech with the autoloading mechanism.
While in the zero position, the autoloader inserts a new round into the chamber without requiring manual intervention. After the loading sequence is complete, the gun is free to move again, allowing the operator or fire control system to re-aim at the next target. This approach maximizes reload speed while maintaining mechanical reliability and safety.
