LCS (L) 2 class landing craft
LCS (L) 2 class (fictional) were british landing craft (Landing craft support) designed for commando raids. These boats were made out of prefabricated parts, and than assembled at various shipyards around UK. Originally they were only armed with Lewis guns, and Oerlikon autocannons, but later versions were fitted with 1 tank turret from the Valentine tanks. In total 15 boats of the eary type, and 12 of the late type were made. They were also used during D-Day, and numerous other operations. After the war all boats of the LCS (L) 2 class were scrapped. I used the Fairmile H as my inspiration.
