[ZAV] Drill Arm Fix (Depricated)
As of 1.5 you don’t need this patch anymore! Developers fixed this issue.
Description
I’m actually surprised no one uploaded a patch like this before.
So, what’s the problem with the Drill Arm? It requires natural shoulder to install. Meaning - if your pawn lost an arm in battle, you can replace it with a new and shiny bionic arm but not the drill arm. I’ve been annoyed by this literally for years. And the only way to resolve this problem is by regrowing a whole arm and then installing a Drill Arm. Needless to say you need something like a Healer Mech Serum for this…
There is also a problem with the “[url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2739055353]Prosthetic No Missing Body Parts[/url]” mod as it only fixes actual ARM and HAND prosthetics, but… yeah… Drill Arm is unique and doesn’t belong to any of those categories.
Well, long story short – this is a very simple patch that turns Drill Arm into a normal arm prosthetic. No more shenanigans, and also with the “Prosthetic No Missing Body Parts” mod it will be possible to wear gloves and use shields with those arms installed.
Compatibility
This is a simple xml mod so it’s unlikely it will ever conflict with anything (future versions of Rimworld included).
