The Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 is a large, long-haul passenger aircraft. It is the latest and longest version of the iconic "Jumbo Jet." The plane has four engines and can carry around 364 passengers. Lufthansa uses it for intercontinental flights. It features modern technology, improved fuel efficiency, and a quiet cabin. The 747-8 is known for its upper deck and distinctive hump at the front.

• Approx. 26,000 L jet fuel – enough for a flight to the Arctic and back.
• Cruise speed close to 100 m/s with 0.3 throttle.
• Throttle max is 0.35 (faster is possible if the center of mass is proportionally adjusted).
• Flaps make it possible to fly with an airspeed of around 30 m/s (overcontrol at this speed often leads to wingtip stall – recovery by speeding up).
• Takeoff speed is reduced as well.
• The climb rate is greatly improved thanks to the flaps.
• The new and improved landing gear system allows for hard touchdowns, but has its problems when braking at high speeds. It can collapse if side loading is too high, for example, during landings in hard crosswinds.
• The suspension may bug out and damage the fuel tank — in this case, you could say you're f***ed.
• The ALT hold system requires trim "W" to +0.2 and GYRO active to level the plane. Keep in mind that with flaps deployed, the plane is going to fly with a nose-down angle to maintain altitude. Deactivate flaps to fly level.
• Reminder: If speed is increased, the "W" trim must be adjusted accordingly.
• For the autopilot, you only have to set a waypoint, paste it into the keyboard, and activate "AP."
• The AP has its problems in crosswinds when trying to maintain a straight path to the destination. In this case, adjust the Q/E trim manually.
• Fire doors run on a separate power system to maintain safety.
• The cockpit has a door lock for emergencies.
